Summer Availability | Chaska Chanhassen Senior Photographer

Inquiries and bookings are quickly rolling in for senior portraits this summer!
I’m so excited for this senior season and have been scoping out some fun new locations! I’ve had several clients book already and am working with several others on available dates. Below is my current availability through August. Unless otherwise noted, I can do a morning or late afternoon/evening session for each date. Keep in mind that location and time of day go hand in hand. Some locations will only work in the morning or afternoon/evening, but not both. If you have a location in mind, let me know and we can work out what time of day would be best for that spot!

So far, these are the only days I have available in September. September sessions will be late afternoon/evening. If you would like a different time of day, please contact me to discuss.

CNHS students, your yearbook pictures are due on October 17. It takes about 2 weeks after your session to have your proof gallery up for you to view. This leaves you a little time to look them over and decide what to order in time for submission!

Rock the Dress Mini Sessions!!

So, you found the PERFECT prom dress and you want a reason to wear it one more time?? I am so excited to announce my first Rock the Dress Mini Session events! This is a fabulous opportunity to get fun, modern, stylish images of you in your prom dress!!

I couldn’t decide between an urban setting or a rural/open field setting, so I decided to offer two dates and do both!

Saturday, May 12
-Urban setting in Minneapolis
-Session times at 4:30, 5:15, 6:00, and 6:45

Saturday, May 26
-Field/rural setting in the SW suburbs
-Session times at 5:30, 6:15, 7:00, and 7:45

Both events will include a 30 minute session, 5-7 fully retouched images on disc with a print release up to 11×14, 20% discount on additional print orders, and web-sized versions of the same images for sharing on social networking sites. The cost is $225 + tax. A $100 deposit is required to reserve your time, the remainder will be due the day of the session.

Brandon | Minneapolis St. Paul Senior Photographer

Yes, the blog is still alive.:)
It’s been a crazy few months both personally and professionally and although I’ve managed to keep my Facebook Fan Page fairly updated, the blog has suffered a bit. If you haven’t “liked” As I See It Photography on Facebook you may want to head on over and do that. Lots of great things are in the works and I’ll be posting more details on my fan page over the next few months.:)

Let’s start with Brandon, a senior from East Ridge High School in Woodbury. Brandon was so laid back and easy going. He was up for anything and had a few ideas of his own! Loved that!! He brought along a few props which were simple but effective. They made his Senior Portraits that much more personal!!

Many more updates to come, so keep your eyes peeled. I’m also going to be working on some personal projects this winter and will need some volunteers. I’ll post details on my Facebook Page as I sort out the details.

Fall Mini Sessions | Schedule Update

It’s that time of year! Full sessions are filling up quickly so I have decided to hold a special mini session event this year. It’s a great way to get updated portraits to display in your home and use in holiday cards. Space is limited and mini sessions will only be held once this year, so contact me soon to reserve your spot!

The fine print:
$100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. The remainder will be due the day of your session.
Sessions will be booked on a first come, first served basis.
You will receive a disc with your images and a print release three weeks after the session.
Please email me at michelle@asiseeitphotos.com with your first, second and third choices for times.

I only have two dates left in October for full sessions: Wednesday, October 12th at 4:30p.m. or Sunday, October 30th at 4:00p.m. Both sessions will be held near the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis. Information on full sessions can be found under the Info tab at the top of this page.

I would like to offer my sincere thanks to each and every one of you who has allowed me to be a part of your lives. Whether you follow my work here on the blog or on Facebook, have had a session, have recommended me to a friend, or have supported me throughout this journey, you have touched my heart and made me a better person. Maddy | Chaska Chanhassen Senior Photographer

I’m not sure if there’s something in the water these days or what, but it seems like every senior girl is drop dead gorgeous and Maddy is no exception. I swear that I was barely on the tail end of my awkward phase at that age. (Some might argue that I’m still hanging on to said awkwardness!) Her eyes are mesmerizing, her skin is to die for and she has a fantastic sense of style. Maddy brought along her mom and a friend on her session and it was awesome to have them along to help carry outfits and bounce ideas off of. Loved this session!

As a side note, I am trying to put together an evening of mini-sessions to take advantage of the beautiful fall colors this year. I’m tentatively looking at October 9th in the Chaska/Chanhassen/Victoria area. It would consist of a 20-30 minute session with 5 images on disc with a print release for $250. It’s a great way to get some updated portraits for your home and holiday cards! Space will be limited, so if you’re interested, please email me at michelle@asiseeitphotos.com. I hope to have the details nailed down in the next week or so.
